Love is the ultimate gift and should be the number one priority on your list. It provokes peace, joy and forgiveness. It is the source and force that gives us the will to live. It separates what matters, and how we care. People give recognition to many things for many reasons. Some things are worthwhile, and some are not worth the while.
Giving time and attention to issues that really have no substance or meaning such as, making comparisons. Can really cause some problems. When there’s no need to bother. Giving too much attention to what someone else has. Who they are; or their place, can cause a runner to loose the race. Wrong source and wrong course. Love is a much better choice to make. Because if were alive. We can say to our heavenly Father, "Thank you for this day and making me this way."
If you look inside yourself you'll find many treasures, you can't find in anyone else. All of what brings joy to your heart. It's yours and no one can take it away. So as you awake to the day. Hold on to you and give your self a treat. Because without you, there would be no need. And, everyone won't be pleased. My point is; Love you enough to know who and what you are. Maybe even let go of some stuff.
I say this because some folk are holding on to so much bitterness, and grief. They can't even see. Passing judgment on others; because of what they've come to believe. Never moving forward, or closing the door to a mistake which was made and never forgave. Maintaining it’s life leads to more bitterness and strife. Causing character labels to put in place. Stopping growth based on the past they know. Many except these identifiers, and it's how you recognize them. But you and I both know. The devil is a liar.
Just like you. I've experience emotions of every kind too. But one thing I've learned is that you can't allow them all to move in and make your heart it's home. You must let go in order to move on or go forth. Be it anger, disappointment, sadness or hatred. You must find a way to let go of all of it. Those emotions abide outside of love and bare seeds, that corrupt and destroy. When we all need forgiveness sometimes and also love. Love for one self and all the rest.
I encourage you in what Christ wouldn't do.
Never carry a grudge, forsaking love. Never hold on to the negative and let go of the positive. Nor be a reminder to others that they are the cause of it. Never say one can't change and will forever be the same. Doing this causes decrease and may lead to a place you don't want to be. It tears down and destroy. Absolutely not an example of love.
A positive impact can only be made, when love is displayed. So let's lift up and build up. Reach out and let go. And know, one things for sure. Your words and action will have an influence on your very own soul. I encourage you to truly follow the example of Christ's life. Remember, he is of love. He made the ultimate sacrifice, for all mankind. He build up, was lifted up. He reached out and knew how to let go. He exemplified love. He guarded his heart and didn't allow the enemy to come in and destroy.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1 John 4: 12
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints. 1 Thessalonians 3 12-13
And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them: 1Kings 8:50
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Romans 2:3
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8 37-39
Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. Luke 17: 3 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: Ephesians 4:31A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34
