A Mothers Way

A rainbow of positive thoughts fill my heart and gives me joy, when I think of the woman who brought me into this world.  The many sacrifices she's made for me out of pure agape love can never be replaced or mistaken. Her perseverance and care was sent straight from above, and no other could ever take her place up to this very day.

So many precious memories are still very much alive in me and I wouldn't have it any other way, Because those are major things that gives me strength and inspiration today.  I have no problem opening my mouth to say; outside of God,  my Mother is the root of the will that drives me to be all I can be, while keeping it real.

When I was a child, I cried when she cried.  I smiled when she smiled though I now realize; sometimes she hurt deep inside.  When she couldn't give us the things most children liked.  She raised us to have dignity and pride about who we were.  She shared and told us about God and his wonderful love.  My mother is the best mother I could have ever asked for.

Many times as child I had anger inside because I couldn't have or do this or that.  I didn't consider her a friend at the time, because she had other things in mine; like teaching me forgiveness, love and responsibility while providing for my health and basic needs.  As a child these things don't always seem like a priority and like most I was not in agreement.

Today I thank God my mother was bigger than me and cared more about the child she was raising than having me as a friend might cut off my blessings or bring my life to an end.  As an adult today, I couldn't ask for a better friend in which I know is there til the end.

Being a mother myself I had the opportunity of knowing and realizing I couldn't be moved by the complaints, the anger or crying.  I had to be whom God created me to be and that is mother responsible for each and every seed.  To nourish, and water, through every season.  For that was my position, God's command and during that time I don't believe anyone of my children would of considered me a friend.

But Glory to God!  Though it was somewhat hard it was worth the mission from beginning to end because now I consider my mother, and children my dearest friends.  Make no mistake about it.  God is the supreme source, the Father who can silence the loudest noise.

The position never ends it only moves into a another level or realm where there's new life, and a new relationship filed with respect, love and honor that's on going and a major blessing with Christ in it.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6).

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him  (Prov. 22:15).

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour (Ro.13:7).

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. (Eph. 6:1-3).

Christ in the House

Today I was going through some old photos and I had to pause for a moment because of the distinct blessing I noticed.  It took me back to a time when my career was what I hold dear to my heart and the wonderful miracles of the Lord!  When I was raising my kids, the only one I could depend on was God!

From day to day he lead the way; and provided for my needs and gave me the ability to see that raising my children was a priority.  My main concern was not  who was there for me, but making sure my children grew up with a heart of love.  A heart that cares about those things that are right and true , also the joy that comes only from above!  The capability and strength to go after their goals, to know truth, respect and honor, free from the pressures of this world.

I didn't want my precious little girl to experience any of the heartache, abuse, disrespect, neglect or disappointment I experienced in my life, because I had come to learn that Jesus Christ made a sacrifice so that they could have life and that more abundantly.  I wanted them all to have that at an early age, so I made sure they knew that price was paid!

I didn't have money or the means to buy the expensive shoes, dresses or jeans their peers were wearing.  Yet in our house there was joy despite the lack of tremendous entertainment and toys.  We ate our meals together and my children were satisfied with whatever.

I also did not want my four sons to be involved with drugs, loose women, the guns or any of those things that others seemed to think were fun.  Of course I couldn't always be home.  So there was an open door policy and we shared whatever was going on; in school, in church, at work, recreation, with friends and all that was happening in our lives.

Based on the love we shared and the union we had; you would never know I ever  struggled or strive for basic necessities to keep us alive.  Because God was on the scene we really didn't want for anything.
As I continued to view the past through the window of a photo.  I realized, what we had was more precious than silver and gold.  A blessed miracle was taking place because my God was head of the household and our lives were in his presence and control.
Not to say things were perfect and mistakes weren't made.  The point is Gods grace and mercy prevailed.
We are the responsible contributing factor in our children's lives The character they possess, how they treat others, their faith and  ability to survive.  Most importantly, making sure they know that God is who he is and the reason they're live.

No man, woman or child could ever get the glory for my life story, because my God reined as he is; KING of Kings and LORD of Lords.  There is no end to his grace, mercy and blessings. You just have to let him in!

If you're a single mother today trying to raise kids alone.  All you got to do is invite God into the home and you can rest assured, you will not be alone.  He will give you all you need to succeed.  Everyone may not agree with where you have placed your priority, but trust, there's no better lead you can follow.  In Jesus Christ, the doors are open and there's no point in waiting for tomorrow.  Allow him into your life today as head, husband, leader and father.

Even if there is an earthly father, He too would do well with a heavenly father who is the head of man.  An Omnipotent God who will do and be there when no one else can.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Prov. 22: 6).

For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called (Is. 54:5).

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus ( Phil. 4:19).

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man (Eph. 3:16);

Priority

The elements, spirits and community of this world care about itself; and are not concerned about giving priority to anything or anyone else.  In Christ we are concerned about life and our priority is that of Christ.  We care enough to share what we have with those who are less fortunate and don't require payment for any of it.

Our Father God gave us life, he gave us time, and he gave us love through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ.  Than allowed him to be a sacrifice so that we could have eternal life, and he didn't charge us a price.

We are adopted in to his family, the Kingdom of the most High.  By simply confessing the sin in which we were born in, believing in his son Jesus Christ.  Believing that he was crucified, that he lived, died and on the third day he did rise.   He rose up out of that grave so that mankind would be saved.

By confessing and believing this miraculous blessing and receiving him in our life we don't have to be a part of this world, we are now a part of love.  We don't have to abide in bitterness and strife or participate in the rituals of this world.

We don't have to think about the things that are beneath.  We have higher thoughts and our priority is of God.  We have no problem feeding the hungry, visiting the sick or simply being a willing participant in helping to lift up a sister or brother; because Jesus Christ example is the one we follow.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour (John 12: 26).

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Ph. 4: 8).

And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday (Is. 58:10):

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me (Ma. 25: 34-36).

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Ro. 10:9).

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour (John 12: 26).
Thank you for stopping by and may you have many blessings through out the day for stopping by this way in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Be Blessed.
