Loving Forgiveness and Compassion

Sometimes we find it hard to show understanding and compassion, when it comes to others.  Especially when we feel like they should know better or it's the same old, same old thing.  It's easy to say he or she is without excuse.  But, when you think about some of the things that God has brought you and I through.  Or, if we haven't come so far as to forget.  We can remember the mistakes we made.  Many mistakes, made over and over again as though we were being paid.

My point is; we went to our Father God whom we knew could and would forgive; and, that's what he did.  He didn't scold us, he didn't judge us, he didn't persecute or crucify us.  He forgave us and showed love.  Yet sometimes in the hardness of the heart; it's easy to tear another person apart, while claiming it's a representation of God.  Remember, he didn't remind us of those faults.  He didn't make us feel uncomfortable in his presence.  He showed compassion and gave us joy and salvation everlasting.

If we claim to be a part of who he is.  We have an obligation to follow his lead and forgive.  If we are representing who he is we have a responsibility to show compassion and with the ability he has given to help those in need.  That is if we aim to be all he's created us to be.  Jesus Christ was crucified and died hanging from a tree, yet he arose from the dead so that all could be saved.  Not by our own might but by his mercy and grace.  Being a part in the body of Christ means that we have access to the keys of life.  Not by our good deeds or sacrifice.

Therefore the church is a place where the lost can be found.  Where we have a hand in lifting our brothers and sisters up off the ground when they are down.  Let us not take part in condemnation but through loving demonstration of the
Word Revelation; let us reach out through the Holy Spirit of Christ to find the lost, love, encourage and save a life.

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8):

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him (Luke 17: 3-4).

And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD (1 Samuel 3:21).

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

So is the gift not like it was by one that sinned: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification (Romans 5:16).

Finally, be all of one mind, having compassion one with another, love as brethren, be tender hearted, be courteous ( 1Peter 3:8):

It is not expedient for me doubtless to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord (2 Corinthians 12:1).

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4: 8).

Dear Lord, help us.  Rein in our mortal bodies and soften the harden hearts of your people.  Give us the mind of Christ so that we exemplify humility and forgiveness towards the brethren in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Let it go

There are times in our life when it seems like something just ain't right.  We know within our midst is deception and we have an unction to be silent, yet because of the temptation of pride, we'd rather participate in confrontation and release the anger.  Still we know  this is an attempt at causing you to slip.  Your walk with Christ may be at risk or in danger.  But Glory to God and Bless the Lord through the sight of Christ  we have a guiding light and we know we must not participate in it.  I've been there and I know there are times we have to say no.   Leave if necessary, take a walk and close that door.

When you find yourself doing things you don't usually do.  Saying things and speaking in ways that are not like you.  Wasting time on people, places or things that lead to spiritual decrease rather than increase.  When you find your self at a lost about what's going on in your world.  When your smile is more often turned upside down and you're no longer comfortable in your own space.  You may have gotten off track or moved out of place.  All it takes is one bad choice.  A choice that has invaded your peace and you're now entertaining as foreign noise.   These could very well be signals or signs indicating you've gotten off course and there's a need for a better lead.   A better direction, a time to seek shelter.

Shelter in the arms of the Lord who can calm the raging storm and guide you back home.  Home in Christ where you belong.  We can't control, the things of this world, because the battles not mine or yours.  Like sheep it's easy for us to stray away from the fold.  But Glory to God!  We have a Shepard who cares, a friend who knows.  All we have to do is let go and turn it over to God.  Confess with our mouth and in our heart.  We've made a wrong turn, we've made a wrong choice.  In the mighty name of Jesus; say I'm in need lord!  I'm in need of your guidance, your protection and love.  I'm your child and I know in you I have nothing to do with this world.  I am weak but you are strong.  Restore my faith, restore my hope and restore my joy.  Lead me into your presence, through prayer and your Word.  All else in this world today I let go.  In you today I go forth.  Leaving the road of darkness.  I close the door.   Today and everyday I let go.  The battle is not mine, it's yours.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).

Likewise the Spirit also helps our weakness: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:26-28).

For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it (Ecclesiastes 7: 12).

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father (Romans 8: 14-15).

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4: 7).
Thank you for stopping by and may you have many blessings through out the day for stopping by this way in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Be Blessed.
