Sometimes we have to go to a place call alone and commune with God about the things that are going on, in our lives. We need to be able to hear the quiet whisper of the Lord and be able to take it to heart. The distractions of this world is just like clutter we need to put it in a gutter, and draw nearer to the Father.
He allows certain things to happen in our life, sometimes, because we're not or have not been paying attention to the spirit of God within us. When we give him that time we find relief, rejuvenation and peace. His presence is something we need. It's not an every now and than thing, and God is not a servant waiting for the bell to ring. He is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
We need to reverence our God. As the head of the family. Not just a convenient source. But for the God he is! giving him the glory honor and praise for which no man is worth. For we are all made of dusty dirt and we usually cause our own hurt. So give some time to the Lord and include him in your life, more so than a job, child, husband or wife.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Luke 10: 27
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Hebrews 5: 7
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Timothy 3:16
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? Hebrews 12: 9
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:6
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24: 15
